What is Happening:
Reenrollment has been completed for all families who are currently attending HGS. As we noted in our application for a charter, our current families were the core of our school community. We are happy to report that nearly all children who were eligible and able to attend next year have decided to reenroll.
Letters have been sent out to our Founding Families list of supporters who are next in line for admission to the new charter school. These families will have until February 15th to respond and will be able to claim seats that are available after our first round of admissions. Finall, on march 1 we will begin an open enrollment period to fill all remaining seats.
While we expect to grow in the next few years, we will maintain our same class size limits and teaching priorities.
Our next HGS Family Night out is scheduled for February 6 at Friendly's in Dunmore. We emailed coupons to all families on our list. Join us.
The school is actively seeking a new school site. A decision will be made soon regarding our actual location for opening next year.
